Tropical Modern Villa

This house was designed around height and light. The great room is two stories tall, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to the yard. A floating stair and a cable-rail balcony connect the two floors.

We installed chevron white oak floors on the main level and built a kitchen with navy lower cabinets, quartz counters and a long linear chandelier. Each bedroom has its own bath, including a primary bath with a freestanding tub.

The covered lanai has a stained wood ceiling and opens to a free-form pool with a sun shelf. Mature palms around the yard give the family privacy.
