Modern Farmhouse Residence

We built this custom home from the ground up. The outside is white board-and-batten siding with large black-framed windows that bring in a lot of light. Inside, wide white oak floors run through an open great room with a linear fireplace set in book-matched marble.

The owners wanted some rooms with character. We built a dark blue study with full-height custom shelving, an arched steel and glass wine room off the main hall, and a primary bath finished in natural stone.

Out back there is a paver terrace with turf joints, a plunge pool and a spa. The exterior lighting makes the back of the house glow at night.
